FirePlanet is a wireless network provider, head-quartered in New York City. We build and manage public and private hotspots, and custom wireless networks. We handle installation, user billing, system maintenance, configuration, and support. FirePlanet has everything needed to provide customers with fast, reliable, wireless access to the Internet. The FirePlanet networks are designed for schools, hotels, restaurants, marinas, office complexes, public areas, managed housing, and other types of businesses.

The FirePlanet engineering team is comprised of experienced networking professionals. We plan, design, install and maintain the networks for any size business. Starting with a site survey, we gather required information about the venue. This helps in the planning phase of the network. We gather information such as venue size, venue composition and layout, required network services to be used, expected end user usages, power availability, weather conditions (i.e. boat marina versus ski lodge), notes on all physical and electrical obstructions, existing infrastructure integration, and future expansion needs.

Using this gathered information, the right amount of the right equipment is chosen in the design. Our main design focus is user experience. It must be simple, fast, reliable, inexpensive, and offer the right services like VPN or secure billing. With this design completed, our professional team installs and tests the hotspot and ensures that everything is to your liking.
